I am trying to make a floor for my poser figure, I have no clue how to can some tell me how to do this? I can do a background, just not a floor.

You can use Poser's floor (Ground) by going to the Hierarchy Editor under the Window pulldown and setting Ground to visible. Then you can apply a texture to it under Render/Materials. You can also make your own floor by using the cube prop and reducing the height (Y coordinate) and enlarging the width and depth (X nd Z coodinates). Hope this helps, Ericroy

In your probslibrary the is a simple square you can also use and it can be textured like any other prop.

Hi,

I use Poser's Ground Plane for all my floors and such, and you can texture, bumpmap and resize it to look like just about anything!

Just go up to the "Display" menu, then select "Guides", "Ground Plane".

Dave :-)

P.S. My website has a selection of Ground Plane textures to download. Enjoy! :-)

Thank you!! What a great gift. I've really needed this. I tend to pose everybody sitting or laying down. I must be tired.:)

Poser's Ground Plane will not render shadows!

hi there - here is a ground plane i created some weeks ago:

cut it out - save with a text editor as plane.obj and import it into poser and drop it down to the floor. scale it in x or z direction, rotate it to use as wall or floor. this plane us UV mapped and can take any texture - texture is tiled 2x2 times, so you can scale the plane much bigger than the poser ground without the blurring effect . hope this helps :)
