Doc, I need you and your "art" about as much as I need another kidneystone, but I will give you credit for your originality and...contempt for the norm, shall I say? I'd also like to say that at least in my case, the negativity is not directed at you as much as it's against some of your supporters, who you must admit are often just as crude and nasty as some of us who are against you have been. Whenever you and I have crossed paths over the years, it's always resulted in fairly intelligent and thought-provoking discussions (at least for me, you probably just brush me off as another whining Vicky renderer, haha). You have made works in the past that I have enjoyed (the Metacreations employee out of work, and an interesting Dr. Doom image), and others that have made me want to reach into the screen and strangle you. ;) I suppose if that's what art is supposed to do, then you do a decent job. If only everyone on both sides could debate without stooping to the "your art sucks" and "what is art?" gibberish...well, perhaps then you wouldn't be as controversial, and you wouldn't want that. :) Anyway, just wanted to let you know that just because some of us don't like you, it doesn't mean we don't acknowledge your abilities and your presence here. I personally think you're a maniacal troublemaking 3D artist from hell...but I'll never say you're stupid, boring, or predictable. Take care. Damn - Okay! Everyone, everyone - hurry up and praise Legume to the Heavens so I can kick his butt at RTCW! ( BTW - do you play Quake3 as well? It's still my preference until Unreal2 comes out. ) Heh. I look at it for what it is - expressions from within that can be interpreted a bazillion different ways. It is a rare artist that can do that. Besides, it beats the legion of half-naked Vickies swinging a sword around, doesn't it? /P

Hummmmm....interesting, that last. Before the "juicy" c&d archives were shelved from public viewing forever, i did a bit of research on the "split". You WERE a very integral part of all that nasty business. Not to mention, the first couple of good friends that I made here, warned me to stay clear of you like poison. Well, that wasn't a problem. You weren't a member of this site, at that time, anyway. But, a few months ago...You came back. Somehow, I know in my heart that you maneuver behind scenes, here. From the "histories", i see it is your way. And, wow....geezo, peezo...Shortly after you came back, this place started going through MAJOR changes. Finally, C&D was taken away, and a new vendor's forum and gallery took its place. THAT MADE ME REALLY, REALLY ANGRY!!!!!!! Now, it seems, many of the others have wandered off to other sites, to make a new go of it. We've become a site of quarrelsome strangers. And, I have heard PFO maligned since day one, here. Since, I am not real pleased with this new, unimproved r'osity, I have been site shopping. I think those folks, over at PFO seem pretty ...well, creative, and, better yet HUMAN. heck, maybe it is, I "stole" you from Willow and the PFO, asked you to work with me and Ed and dumped you here to torment all of the other really good artists... so I guess it IS my fault. :o) Again, interesting bit, this last.
OK Jack, Now I know...You are the one that is responsible for the C&D being done away with...I always thought it had something to do with irresponsible members that kept just going over an over the same crap and that the administration finally got tired of it...Damn, now I know it was all your fault....Poppi, go hang out with the PFO...I am sure you will love it there....They love people that don't ask questions...You should fit right in...

_It just seems that everyone does what they can. _The only question might be: "Could I do better ?" ...And you are totally free too NOT to ask yourself this question. I like your nickname though. I'm french too and I think that wanting to be a "Vegetable" (if I transalte it) is showing some humour and derision. I put no value judgement on the rest , though I have to admit I find the contents of your artworks a little bit strange...don't understand what you want to mean by these 3D True-Type banners, and neither I do with the constant fixation on "Pegasus" Horsie. I would be interested_as maybe other members, you know, people have a tendency of accepting you more when they understand..., if you could tell a little bit more (I mean your own comments on your artworks) about your shape of mind about your creations, so that people won't blame or won't say anything nasty anymore about you or your works...maybe it could a good idea to do this, what do you think ? Micheleh - Gee, I thought everyone would know by now that Hoffa is burried under the stands at the old Tiger Stadium... as for the missing tapes... well... if I handed them over, what would I have to listen to while trying to go to sleep? Now about the alien ship... there's actually a very funny story that involves that, however, shortly after it's arrival and my abduction, Fox Mulder showed up in a black helicopter and the next thing I know, I was up to my eyeballs in conspiracy theories... truth be told, I was really kidnapped by the aliens, which interesting enough they look very much like Legume and had been held there against my will for the last three years... it was such a terrible mess, my face was plastered in every post office and tabloid through out the US, Canada and Mexico (probably the reason Virus hates me)for a crime that I never committed (the Artist's Liberation Front), it was actually an alien shapeshifter that did it all... I swear it!! But I did have a nice conversation with Jim Morrison and Elvis while I was under Spaceship Arrest!! ;o) Alfie- I think you bring up some interesting questions which would go a long way to quell allot of people's questions about Legume and his style of artwork. Personally, I think that is why the AOM was created, so that other members can read about those things and about the artist to see what makes them "tick" and where they draw their inspiration from. I deffinately think that Legume (if elected AOM which it looks like he will be) will certainly be one of the most interesting reads that I have seen on Renderosity's front page in a LOOOOOONNNNGGG Time :o) Jack
heyas; i like you anyway, jack. :) i like you, too, legume. no there ain't gonna be no damn' huggin' around here!! i dont like you THAT MUCH!!! shoo! get away!! you know, the thought occurs to me that the magic pink pony and the uber-cutesy revolution might be a comment on me, since i got the cute hatchling dragon and was subsumed into making nothing but excrutiatingly cute pictures, and then went on to try to create MORE cuteness. and cute pictures. rather than, say, real art. but i don't mind that. after all, it IS true. i don't delude myself. (well, not about that, anyway.)

She's hiding, right now. So you just have me...the one that the psychiatrist fixed with his "grouping" too. Tonight, I am going by the name: Perfect, Precious Poppi. It suits me. Poppi, Not to give you a hard time but I just don't think you will find the PFO that much fun...They are way too serious for their own good....The whole growth of this Poser community has been somewhat like the program itself...It started out rather small with Poser1 and look where we are today....There have been problems along with the way along with some really wonderful successes in the process...Of course this thread is supposse to belong to Legume and I am really OT considering....So I would like to say this, Legume in my mind has been a consistent source of thought provoking whatever...Whether it be a piece of his artwork or simply a thread that he started...I have always gotten the impression there is alot of thought that goes into most everything he does...He is probably one of the most, if not the most, intelligent person here on this forum...

Grrrrrrrr.....Okay, we have been down the "ruining the good name of Poppi, in C&D". It was deleted. First off....I AM THE RENDEROSITY POPPI. No one else better even try and be a Poppi...unless they are one of the Poppie fairies that were for sale a while back. Second....What is wrong with being a Poppi? I've been a Poppi since '91 and have NO complaints. Or, maybe, ALF, you just THINK you're a Poppi, (or wish you were a Poppi), and it is just your Poppi-envy that causes you to speak to Jack about Poppi-matters. So, leave Poppi out of this. You are too full of hatred, it seems to me, to link your name with mine. Pop...Pop...Poppi!!! Who has given up on making any sense out of the tail end of this thread, including her own post ;*)
No more words about all of this would be totally a definitive break for the ones who have got a real Amardillo in their pants. It was too much a commercial Advertising Campain for this or that guy. I don't care anymore. Even the banners on top of the page here are screaming: "FREE SPEECH".... It means: "Let the artists paint or even talk & argue, we're gonna make business over them ABOUT THAT TOO." ...might be wrong, at least I say that I can be so. but you know ? I'm like everybody else: I hate to be wrong all the time ! .....But, of course, let's say: I am still misunderstanding ALL, am I not ? Salut. Lost enough time. It's not even interesting...makes me think of these old MSN chat-rooms, where a dozen of them talk beetween themselves as "Bro,you-die?-then-I'll-die-too" kind of friends and look at you as if you had four heads if you just say "hello"... If it weren't for your continued abuse, bashing my art and myself, and insinuating that I may be of low intellect, I'd have gotten bored and probably gone back to playing Red Alert or Castle Wolfenstein instead of creating my unique imagery. I thank you, on behalf of the people who like my work, for truly it is YOUR venom and hatred that is my muse. In the past month I've posted over FORTY new images, and never have I been so prolific. Your nastiness and negativity are a tonic to me, you are my inspiration, and as long as you continue to feed me with your negative energy, I will happily continue to provide my supporters with the quality entertainment they so enjoy.
