Does anyone have a problem in Poser where you try to put an article of clothing on a character, and the object doesn't show up even though it says its there? What do you do about this????

This is normally caused by the OBJ file for that item of clothing/character being missing. To see what this OBJ file is, and where it should be do the following: Open the .CR2 file in a text editor, and search for 'obj'. The path is normally in the format: :runtime:geometries:whatever:thefile.obj In your mind replace the : marks with (directories), and check if the OBJ file really does exist. Hope this helps!

Perhaps the clothing that is being loaded has a texture and trans map applied that requires its transparency being set to 100%. You won't see it when it's loaded but will see it when it's rendered. This type of clothing usually shows up as a mesh of tiny dots. Try rendering the scene and see if the clothing shows.

This happens with hair a lot also. Let us know if you were able to see it after rendering, or if you had to look for the file. Just curious as to which one it was. Also you should make sure you update the program. Marque

I'll add one more possibility... if you've moved your character away from the zero point, you may not be able to see the clothing when you load it. It's over at zero, out of your viewport. It should show up when you conform it to the figure, though.
