This is one of Tim's many 'uncut' textures-1b2 as a matter of fact. Used Kyoko hair #2, my 'morph woman' (Trav's and Yamato's morphs). She definitely has a story to tell. Diane B

Wow Diane, you've got me intrigued. Do tell us please. Nice pic and background. Are the tears post work?

Yikes, Diane!! That expression is so sad (and good) I had to create a tissue box mesh for myself! Foxhollow

Well, thanks all (blushing with surprise). Kalypso, yes, the tears are post--actually 'tubes' in PSP6--don't know where I got them now, but there are a LOT of tubes out there--many more than nozzles for Painter. I also 'smudged' them just a bit on their layer I've been playing a lot with Poser/Bryce and a lot of post work lately (and I have to say this is due to Lorraine's images from the past few months). Yeah, Allie--looking at it, she does have a slightly passing likeness to Julia Roberts. Diane B

Oh, Bloodsong, just realized what you were referring to--I put it in the gallery too (maybe that's a bit of overkill tho'). Wonder why it isn't showing up for you. Now, I had that problem sometimes when I was posting in the other forum and didn't have my file names short, no blanks and no capitals, but I just uploaded a .jpeg here. DB

heya; okay, we fixed it. :) i can see! i'm cured! this looks great! i only wish the tears had come out better. you know? they kinda look put on. when you see someone crying, usually there is just a wet stream gleaming where the tears fell. i would try smearing them together and along a path down her cheek, and use bright highlights instead of the grey shadows. (if you have photoshop and/or the plastic wrap filter, that might come in handy...)

Thanks--they ARE put on LOL (tubes). I smudged some--more the first time but they didn't turn out good-just 'grey goo'. I know what you mean--just not sure how to do it--I'll have to experiment. Don't have PS and youall keep mentioning the plastic wrap filter--is it in PS?--or available as an addon--and from whom? I think if I work in the 'color' menu area I maybe can change the highlights (the tubes come 'as is')--or if I can make my own 'tear track'. Guess that's something to try. Diane B

heya; plastic wrap used to be in a set of filters you could buy... from... um... er, somebody. i think adobe bought them or licensed them for inclusion with 'shop 4(+). what i would try is just painting some white right on her face. actually, if you go to my gallery and check out the lady who cries pic, there are some tips there. i painted tears onto that. um, of course those were blood, not water. :) http://people.delphi.com/sphynx/gallery/index.htm
