Not sure if this is the right place for this question but lets give it a shot anyhow. I am trying to texture an arrow model and I am having problems when it comes to the feathers. I can get a side view of two of them using Steve Cox's UV mapper program, (thanks for a great program Steve), but that third one is on edge. I cant seem to get all three feathers turned to a side view for mapping. Any ideas gang?

Are the feathers made of duplicate of the same mesh? If so you can export the UVs for one and apply it to the rest one at a time. That way the feathers can all use the same map.

High light or select the offending feather. Then open upt the rotate menu under edit. enter 90 in only one of the x y z boxes and then remap this one part. you may have to go back and experiment in the rotate menu to find out wich one is the right direction to achieve your disred result. Hope this help ya

I've got a solution but maybe you'll don't like. You need 3dsmax you apply a cylinder uvmap on the arrow and a planar on the tip and a box uvmap on each feather. So you'll have a each piece seperately in UVMapper. If you don't have 3dsmax send me the file and I can do it for you it's not long.
