Thank you. I've heard of this one, too, but never tried it. Anyway, all of us here, having paid for the original 3D Exploration Enterprise licens, were entitled to the upgrade to Deep Exploration, in accordance with Right Hemisphere's update policy after buying X Dimension Software out. So, we want to get Deep Exploration working. :) I have had a few emails back and forth with Glenn Collins yetserday. It seems to be largely a Win 98 thing, from what I can tell from his replies. Today I discovered that the "Browse" button in the Material Properties doesn't work, but hein already pointed that out. I had forgotten to check, but thought I had. :/ So, I let Glenn know about that, too. Glenn's a good guy, and seems to be very appreciative of all I've told him so far, and he sounds pretty confident that this will all be fixed very soon. Here's a summary from yesterday's email: Thanks for your feedback Mike, it is greatly appreciated. Thought you might also be interested to know that we have just added support for Direct X. Should be available soon. With regards to the bug you are experiencing I think we have narrowed the problem. Are you running win98 second edition? Are you having any problems with your menu, eg. File, Display, Render etc. displaying or any other menu refresh problems? Thanks Glenn ************************** Hi Mike, This "save as" problem looks to be a bug that is occurring on just a few users computers, and we are working to solve the problem as we speak. I hope to have an update very soon. As yet there is no registered users area for Deep Exploration, but when the first patch is available it will be located in the downloads area. Regards, Glenn Collins *********************** I haven't heard back yet about the "Browse" problem in the material properties window, but it seems he rarely replies before evening.

Mike, I'm sympathetic to gettin what y'paid for, just thought I'g post about a very inexpensive, massively useful program, you can never have too many GOOD tools. It has a bunch of features I've not mentioned so I'd recommend checkin' it out anyway. The reason i mention it is I use Imagine3D and it seems to be the only converter that does Imagine both ways. peace bobbystahr

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Yeah, I know what you mean. I tend to check out everything I hear about, and I'll have a look at Accu Trans, too. I didn't mean to sound like I wasn't appreciative for the info, because I am. Thank you. :)

Guess you have to live in the US of A to get an answer from RH, beyond the usual "it doesn't happen here" 5 days ago I haven't received an answer to further questions (3 emails). Happened too when DpPaint refused to update.

Sorry to hear it hein. :( If it makes you feel any better, I've been emailing Glenn for several months now, pointing out 3D Exploration problems, suggestions, giving results of a few tests I've done where I found bugs. That sort of thing, and I'm always polite about it...so he usually replies to me on the same day. But still, I agree that ALL customers should be treated the same, with the same courtesy of a prompt reply.

I never got a reply, but I did not write to Mr Collins directly. I think we do not need yet any reply, as you got one, Mike. I think the answer stands for all of us, or at least, I hope :-) Guitta
