Subject: A public thank you to Bloodsong

Some years ago, I think even before the current Renderosity configuration, as a newbie I was asking a naive newbie question, and the first response I got was preceded by heyas; and then some very kind and helpful guidance. I note that you are still at it. Still helping all us poor lost souls with your kind and knowledgeable advice. Just a thank you to you Bloodsong, one of the Poser Originals. Godspeed. Pinto

Bloodsong is very helpful. Always has been and always will be. I owe alot of what I know about all this CG stuffage to bloodsong. But, kind??? I 've been "thwapped" by bloodsong and called a goof more times than I can count! Are we talking about the same bloodsong here? ;)

OK...I'll make an idiot out of myself in public g what does "heyas" mean? Is it a location specific greeting? This has been bugging me for about 100 years

bloodsong ( ) posted Sun, 10 March 2002 at 11:45 AM

heyas! where've you been, pinto? :) well, mike.... um.... actually, i can't explain that. :) and heyas is plural for heya. which is like a cross between hey and hiya. i started saying heyas on these forums, because.... well, forum messages are to groups of people rather than one person, so a plural form of greeting seemed more appropriate. and i say heyas or something on the first line, cuz i think it looks weird when i just start typing right away on the first line. i dunno, i just like a sort of top margin buffer when i'm typing. now quit embarassing me in public, here! ;) YOU GOOFS! (there, now mike doesn't feel so singled-out.) oh yeah, and you're welcome, too.
