Can the guy who is trying to guess my password please go do something else. I get an email back each time you fail and its becoming tedious. Any one else getting the same treatment?

Yep, I just received six emails telling me my password too. I just fired off an email to the renderosity staff about it.

Now I'm feeling underrated, nobody tries to guess my password. ;P

Phil I've been getting them in blocks of 3 emails at a time. Interestingly enough after the 1st set, (just as a kneejerk reaction :-), I changed my password but continued to get emails with my old password.

I got them too. Interesting. I suspect one of two possibilities: 1. A bot is trying to hack the renderosity server for somebody. 2. The server has an accidental bug of some sort.

I haven't gotten any of the emails but I've noticed that Rosity has really gotten very slow in loading anything lately

It would be kinda stupid to hack in when all you gotta do is apply....this isnt a pay site after all. And it seems unlikely that someone would have malicious intent (ie. posing as someone...including me) since "they" seem to be after any name....I too think its a glitch....(but I changed my password anyway) Scarab

I would be bound to think it is a glitch. I actually forgot that I had a login at work that another employee had used while he was here, until I checked my work email and I got the "6" reminding me of my password. Checked my regular email to and got the 6 for this one as well. Was kind of worried for a moment, but if everyone else is getting them, I guess I won't fret. Can't really imagine someone trying everyones logon 6 times, especially the ones that aren't in use and they haven't seen for over a year and a half.

i ONLY got 5 of them .. ;) maybe some sort of error in the mailing of the site...?

Perhaps those that only got 5 (I got 6 too) should write and complain to Renderosity to fix the hack/glitch so it works RIGHT for them. :-) Seriously - I am a bit concerned about a hack - people don't do it necessarily for commercial reasons, sometimes just to mess things up for fun and to see if they CAN.

I too have recieved such e-mails. 6 of them at 8:53 a.m., and 6 of them at 9:40 a.m. Apparently I have two accounts (?). I sort of forgot about the old account till now. "HEY RENDEROSITY STAFF", hehehe, "Wuz up?". Me thinks there's a glitch, (or a ghost), in the machine. Well I guess it could have been worse. They could have e-mailed our user:pass to somebody else. Scarab - If it is a Hacker, they may be attempting to access your previous purchases... I have been able to "re-download" my old purchases (thanks be to R'Sity for that feature!)...
