Welome, you must buy Vickie go to daz3d. The rest of what your looking for is in the tutorials, I saw one that teaches the effect you want, but I cant remember who did it. I'm sure some else Knows who it is and head you in the right direction. Happy Rendering. Tashar 59Attached Link: http://morphworld30.com
azura (eve) is a free charicter with a high rez head. you can find her at this web site.Attached Link: http://uvmapper.com
oh and i'm not sure if he's got a texture map there but you can make one for any charicter with the free program UV mapper available at this addressThanks ever so much , the Eve and Azura look to be most promising , especially with the high rez head option of the later . From what Iv'e seen in another tutorial , the effect I mentioned wanting to achieve is called Mobius , but, the tutorial make the whole thing depandant on finishing in photoshop. Is it not possible to do a Mobius model so that ppl can download your glassy person with fleshy bodyparts. Now I come to think of it , can Chrome be added to poser figures in the program ? (I'm sure newbies ask the worst and most complicated questions eh ?!?)
I do not really understand what a mobius model should look like... but you can make everything you make downloadable as long as you do not include copyrighted material. To answer your second question, well yes and no. The scanline renderer which is used by poser cannot do reflections, so a realistic chrome which mirrors a lot is not possible in poser. What you can do is work with reflection maps, which simulate this effect, or you export your poser work into a different software, which is able to do raytracing. You do not even have to spend much money on it, there is a free converter to the free raytracer PovRay. Just ask further, we try to be helpfull here....

You should try the 3.5 beta, since 3.0 cannot do uv-maps. There is an inofficial version called MegaPov as well, but since 3.5 is very stable I would use it. To convert your models to Pov I would use PoseRay, use the link above to it's homepage. Povray is www.povray.org.

Hi Forum, I'm quite fresh with Poser by smart enough to learn quickly . Iv'e seen Cake one's excellent tutorial for adding your face to a model , she says for example Vicky(Toria) was a great model for doing the job but I cannot find the Vicky model here , just add ons/props etc. Can somebody please point me in the right direction. The same applies to finding the Vicky texture mesh for skinning the model, doing acurate photoshop rendering. If someone could kindly help me out here as far as locating the required resources go I'd be very gratefull. Seconly , a little more of an advanced topic. Is it possible to make a glass like poser model with a lot of glass like rflection and shine but apply a texture on top with transparency (Think glass woman with glowing lace cat suit ) and you get an image of what I'd like to achieve. Making the matter even more fiddly , I'd like to cover the head in the pattern as well but have an ordinary face without any glass reflections . Is this something that can be done ? If the answer is yes , could you once again point me in the direction of "How" Hope someone can assist , thanks HIAB-X
