Now, I know im new to the forum and have no say. And for that matter no opion that counts. If someones making money fine. Who really cares? Well some do and some don't, it's all just a way for the all mighty dollar. But honestly folks there is enough talent here, and a BOATLOADS of software that we all could start our own online comunity. With out any of this "issue" or "players" involved. Sure it won't be as cool.. But when this site first started out neither was it. It's all a matter of who wants to do it. If there is a war with the battle lines drawn. The people who don't want to be appart of this war have every right to not have to deal with this issue that doesent even affect them. Poser and MC are in an infinate spin, im sure someone will pick up the products. It's only a matter of time. Copyright issues and law sutes? Im not going to sue anyone here.. don't waste my time or jam up my e-mail with crap like that. Frankly I see that it's an abuse of someone who has the power to access this forums e-mails. Just to promote his or her feelings.. So here's a request Ian.. KNOCK IT OFF.. Don't use me as a propaganda target. Whatever your issue is with Jack, settle it with out this comunity needing some damn soap opera involved. ~Blacksteel This will probably get deleted.. Mine usualy do cause I speak my mind. oh well.. =

You won't get deleted. -Trav

Blacksteel YOU have as much say as any other member here, and we do listen (well, okay, we read - but you get the idea) so your opinions DO count. And, as Traveler says, you won't be deleted for expressing your opinions Paul

melanie ( ) posted Mon, 17 January 2000 at 10:54 AM

As Paul said, especially here, you don't get deleted for speakng your mind. That happens at another site. Every member nere, no matter how new you are, has a voice. That's the whole point with this forum. Jack and the Renderosity folks here respect people's freedom of speech and the right to speak openly. No censoring or deleting. This is why I came back here. I feel like what I have to say counts and it won't offend anyone's sensitive feelings. (Not that I've ever deliberately tried to offend anyone, but at PFO everything anyone said was offensive to one or the other of the admins.) Please don't be hesitant to say what you wish, if you have an opinion. We respect your right to say it. That doesn't mean everyone will agree, but at least here, you have the freedom to say it. Melanie

...and to clarify something, Blacksteel- Ian does not have access to this forums e-mails.

You're right Warrior--I think he misspoke too (here I go again putting words in others mouths LOL). I think he meant being able to come into the forum, read a post he didn't like (see my above post) and then send email using this system (if you click on the posters name, you automatically can send email from here to that poster). Therefore, I guess, in theory he does have access to this forum's email addresses---hmmm. Apples and oranges, though, the way each of you state it. Diane B

BlackSteel, this place is open to all views, doesn't matter if you have been a member from the 'Good ole days' or if today was your first time here. I feel everyone has a right to speak what is on their mind, right or wrong, good or bad, or even if it is to tell me that I am a rotten a-hole. Everyone has their own opinion, I wont censor you, I wont delete you, I may not agree with what you may say, but part of what being adult means is: Listen with an open heart and mind and then make your own choice. Not get your dander up and start blasting away. All that I ask is that the message be placed in the proper forum for it...nothing more, nothing less. Oh...and welcome to Renderosity :o) Jack

By Jack- "I may not agree with what you may say, but part of what being adult means is: Listen with an open heart and mind and then make your own choice. Not get your dander up and start blasting away." Exactly what I am saying in my "Let's try this" thread. :o)

edarsenal ( ) posted Tue, 18 January 2000 at 1:10 AM

but, like i have noticied, when deleted, some come and repeat their posts here, perhaps this is the case with Blacksteel....

Blacksteel ( ) posted Tue, 18 January 2000 at 1:19 AM

As it was indeed a typo that says "THIS" Forums E-mail. That should have read "Their Forums E-mail" In all of this useless bickering over the two sites. I wanted to point out that I felt it was an abuse of Ian's abilitys and powers to play some "political type of scam". to get this topic rolling. Sorry folks.. It was not directed at this site. But hell I always come here to get the best advice anyways.. If there is a copyright issue then that should be taken up with the management. But to actualy try a mass letter to get me or anyone else to sue Jack has got to be a retarded ass. So this is a the place that won't delete my message for me calling Ian an ass.. end of my thoughts (And thanks for keeping me clear of where im at. ) =) Peace = No Spamleagal acts to jam up the U.S. courts ~Blacksteel

Correction- Ian's letter never asked anyone to sue Jack.
