Here's a continuation of the same idea. There's a light with a fractal gel to shine on the tree. Add a water plane, and use the same fractal as the material for the water. This fractal has a lot of points, which look like waves. I also pulled up a couple of the points in Photoshop to heighten the effect. Heh.. Do I get to check the "nudity" box?? This is a nude tree. *tiny smirk*

A floor mesh would be good.. And in any drawing program, you could put a fractal like this as a base/floor and then put objects piercing the floor at certain places. Such as conical things, tetrahedrons, etc. This would make a sort of "mirror" effect, sort of like a self-similar fractal that you create yourself.
