Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
The boots simply rock; add a bump map that will separate the straps from the rest of the boot (basically to add seams), and they'd be perfect. The pants could use a touch more work IMveryHO... the pockets and seams can be made with a bump map instead of modelling them directly. Otherwise, I like 'em a lot :) Cheers, /P
If you are going to model the pockets, why not add a wallet-shaped area on one side? It is obvious, especially with jeans or any pants this tight, where a person stashes keys and wallet and such. Also, the wrinkles (like in the crotch and backs of knees) shouldn't be symmetrical if you want them to look real. Otherwise, great job! Carolly
Gee, look damn good to me! I don't know what you are trying to duplicate, but beware of Poser's rounding off of edges, a lot of time it works fo your advantage, other times you loose sharp edges. One solution is to put a triplet row of edges on every corner that is supposed to be sharp, to define the corner. After a while you sort of get a feeling on how Poser is going to treat the corner, and you can model accordingly.
