Dream Spinner, The answer is yes. Giggle. But really. If you just want to change the color either one will do. They both can be changed just using the paint bucket tool. They are also both around the same size (same mesh used). But if you want an extreme close up then using a texture map is the way to go. That way you can get some nice detail.( The mesh is somewhat detailed, but not great for an extreame close up) I hope this helps. James PS: To all i have this as a figure also, and i may attempt to make it a possable prop one of these days (stem bend, leaf morphs, and open bud morph)
This is over 4, maybe 5 years old, and as I'm not asking for money, or bundling it with a paid program, things should be fine. I'll have to grab my ancient copy of LogoMotion, and read the read me file, but I think that all of the files on the disk were completely Royalty FREE and can be used for any purpose. I'm hoping that because this is a site that I feel that it's among friends. It shouldn't matter. I also have seen it on 3D cafe, and other free 3d sights. If anyone at Zygote is here. Tell me if this is ok, otherwise I will indeed remove it. James

Well with a little effort and UV Mapper (Thanks!) I have a new post for the Zygote rose. Now with UV mapping! A template and pp2 file. Read the read me in the zip file ( you need to flip UV while importing)! Also you'll have to experiment alittle to make sure all your new maps are going in the right direction. I had to rotate some of the objects and so some are turned on their sides. Enjoy! James
