I got it At 3Dcafe' It was A lightwave sceen That I asked C.A.R. to convert for me. I have the convetion in a Zip, if you want it, Since it was a free download, I don't think it's against any copy right laws for me to e-mail it to you if you want it. Let me know where and if you want it I'll send it. -Gabe-

Great image! does that model actually convert in to an airplane? BTW: Feel better. I just got over that nasty bug myself.

heyas; looking really cool! i think maybe the foreground terrain needs some more detail. the viewer is real close to it, so we should be able to see little pits and craters and cracks and rocks. (on the other hand, maybe those all eroded away... which is what it looks like now.) maybe the figure could stand some light on it... the flare behind/beside it is kinda competing for attention; though i like the idea of a figure backlit and in shadow... some little glowing led's on the hardsuit might work. or put his arm up and have a big flaming flare shooting a rocket out of the gun. ;D now that'd be fun!

Hey Gabe it was no problem at all :) By the way Great image!! CAR

I agree with Bloodsong about the lighting.. the figure doesn't seem to be the primary focus of the picture, and that there should be some debris/small rocks kicking around the foreground. Also, if he's walking, you might want to put some dust clouds around his feet. I'd like to add myself to the "Please mail me the Veritech model" list, if that's ok.. bobandgail@home.com. Thanks TyggerBob

Hi guys, About the ground. Yes your right, I was originaly going to do this, but then I saw Apollo 13 and the space sceens with Tom hanks on the moon, and there was an inch ofdust on the ground, so I wasn't sure weather or not I should put in more textures on the moon surface, but I'll give it a try and see what you think. I also think that running lights or somthing like that would help the ship alot that was a really good idea! thanks Bloodsong. I originaly didn't want to make the charector the center of attention, I think it would be better if I did though. i'll post the update tomorrow and tell me which you all like better. As for the mesh, It doesn't transform yet, but I'm trying to see if I can get it to do so. I was trying to get it posable and that was why I put it on this forum, but no lock yet. (joint parameters kill me.) If anyone wants the converted file, e-mail me at gsalas@monad.net and I'll send it to you. I don't think that there is any copyright problems because the original mesh is a free DJ from 3D cafe to begin with. and reading the agreement I think a file convetion is ok. -Gabe-
