Lately I've been getting several weird pop up errors in Poser when I click on some of these files I've downloaded off this website that says "This file is a newer version number than expected. Poser will attempt to read it anyway." I have Poser 4.0. I wasn't aware of any upgrade and I've visited Metacreations as early as today. What's going on?

The file you tried to open was from someone's version of Poser that has had the patch applied. This is not a negative error, 99% of the time, Poser will say this, and then open the file with no issues. Check the board for more information regarding this patch. co(V)(V)union

Fixed. Thank you. I do know that without this patch that some of the morphs I've downloaded will not work properly without it. But I'm fixed up now. Any one know why Metacreations didn't come up with this fix and post it on their website?

Because they are lame and decided to lay off more than 100 people from their graphics division (2 weeks b4 Xmas) and put Poser up on the auction block, in favor of their much more profit generating "metastreaming" software; which is projected to be a big hit with ecommerce sites etc. Larry Weinberg, the creator of Poser has provided this patch for all users out of the pure kindness of his heart. Since I am waiting for the 'final' patch, I'd love to know what morphs haven't worked for you. I need to dl the new ones from Traveler, but so far I haven't had any that didn't work recently. Diane B
