Some jackass had uploaded 2 funstuff items (or 1 item twice) that links to a site that requires membership! Stoopid.... The person in question, whoever it is, is obviously a member there themselves and doesn't get the login, so they have no idea about it. Let's hope a moderator or somebody does something about it soon. :] FishNose
Hmmm, I just downloaded both of Freesea45's items, the fantasy fae and the fantasy kat. Are those the two you were concerned with? If so, perhaps he or she made a mistake with the upload and subsequently fixed it, or it may be some security thing on your system (I'm running windows 2000 with a firewall) Before you hang this person, how about a simple and polite enquiry as to what's up. I mean, paranoia can be a relaxing hobby, but let's not get carried away. Regards- Lemurtek
*Looking at your screenshot ... hmmmmm,
you aren't using MS Internet Explorer
which may explain the problem.
Err.... Look again '-)
Okay ya got me! you can tell I'm not a Mac user, the software prices for them down here is very high compared to PC, consequently don't see their screens or browsers very often. OT but I had an Apple 2 back in the 4" floppy days and spent a week trying to play a text game concerning an alien invading your bedroom during the night, after about 20 hours of endless frustration, I typed...help... and it popped up a screen with an address to send 10 bucks for the answers. I packed up the computer, gave it to my nephew and never touched another computer for at least 12 months. Tommy
NEVER type in passwords from suddenly new pop-up requests. Renderosity's server(s) already has your password and considering the recent script attacks, I'd view any attempt to get you to re-input your password as suspicious. I too got the pop-up and took a screenshot and sent it to Admin with a note.
Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things! ; )
