Going to add some hovering demon-spirty types flanking the table and some occulty symbols on the doors in back. Also, going to give Michelle a shirt, looking for a Puffy Shirt type thing with laces. Anyone know where I can pick one up? Also, going to be a cat in there out front and paint in some earrings. This render took one hour from Poser..the longest render ever for me (besides bryce)

Well, Darth, you asked for "harsh criticism." Sorry, I cannot oblige you. The image looks fantastic so far. I very much hope you share the finished work with us.

Harsh, eh? Let me start out that it looks pretty good already. However (you knew that was coming), There are a few things I would do if I were you. 1. The lady's shadow. The only thing I've ever seen put out a shadow that deep and that hard is arclight. You need to lighten and soften it. 2. The light color. Too white. Makes the scene look like it's lit by florescent lights. Remember, light color sets the mood. 3. Where is the light that's creating the highlight on the right side of the alter coming from? Nothing else seems affected by it and it casts no shadows. 4. It's hard to tell she's looking at the crystal ball. Point the eyes down a little more and increase the blink. Enough for now. Love to see the finished product. SMT

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

My only critique is that the world needs more psychic friends that look like that.

Image looks great but reduce the shadow a little bit. no shadow is really black... but the pic ROCKS! stonecold

The shadow also looks like it was added post render. Or if not, then the background must be a pic on a planar object cause the chadow lays on top rather than following the geometry.

This is really nice, but I think the shadows draw the eye too much, though I can see it changing a lot if the things you say you are going to add are included. I am waiting to see the final render...

Okay, first up: that is one excellent picture. I agree with smallspace (and the others) about the shadow. It's far too harsh and dark. Also, the lighting is too white - try softening it towards yellow. When you add the other elements, it's going to change the picture's tonal quality again so you will (probably) have to rework some of the lighting/shadow again. I've also just noticed, the candle's light doesn't seem to be affecting anything. There's no light from it being cast on the figure or the crystal ball. Paul

Sorry, no criticism so far. This is going to be a very detailed picture! I can't believe you rendered this in Poser!

heya; her shadow didnt bother me so much as... what on EARTH is that black thing at the top?? also... this is kinda funny... it looks as if she were gazing deeeeeeeply into the crystal ball, and just a split second before this moment, all her clothes vanished! (i hate when that happens!)

The bricks are flat. They need to project outward. (I know, this is easier said than done in Poser.) The hair is a bit too transparent. I really like the picture overall.

The face seems a bit murky; I'd suggest either adding a faint backlight to justify this, or a faint spotlight to diminish it. Also the shadows do seem to be a bit harsh. Otherwise excellent work!
