Subject: Poser Pro Pack to 3DSMAX plugin problem

violatus ( ) posted Fri, 10 May 2002 at 6:56 AM ยท edited Wed, 07 August 2024 at 1:32 PM

I'm using 3DSMAX R3.1 and Poser Pro Pack SR2. My problem is when I try to import a poser scene into 3dsmax using the plugin. I select the scene I want to import, wait to load and then when I hit the "create" button I only get a box. If I try anything 3DSMAX freezes and I get an error message that an application error has occured and the application will be shut down. I use Win2000 with Service Pack 2 installed. The funniest thing of all however is that I have previously used the plugin successfully but after I formatted my hard drive and installed everything from the beginning I can't make it work whatever I've tried. Please let me know if you know anything abou this and thanks for your time and patience.

SR2 doesn't work (I used to have the same problem) download and install SR3. It's a free upgrade. Also, always start with a blank scene and delete any walk paths. If you still have trouble contact CL. They actually will get back to you in a couple of days.
