Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Aug 27 11:19 am)
Right, OK it's got "BoXX" writen on the front I think it has a 1.7ghz Xeon chip 1GHz ram and aparently it has a wildcat 5110 trapped inside (poor thing) "I think this is the video card" and runs the lovely shiny XP pro Does that sound right? I don't know a lot about computers, this one was given to me as a thankyou for some work i did. It's a lot faster than the old one I had though. And dosn't seem too be bothered about any programmes I'v asked it to run yet, hope this is the information you need?

I think the best thing to do is browse around some gallerys and make a note of the fractals you like, and the software used, and take it from there ;0)I have included a link of an earlier thread that has loads of further links for where to find the software. There are links for freeware and shareware, software.Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Form.Contrib=fractility&Topsectionid=0
Just one of many possibilities for you to consider.............most of the posts you see on here are from Ultrafractal, but I dont know how well it runs on XP. What you'll probably need to do is go to those links stotty and fractility posted, download some diffrent programs and run them. If you find one that looks interesting and then are stuck on how to use it, post questions here and someone will be able to get you going on it.
