I've been hanging out in the chatroom as of late and I've noticed both today and yesterday, someone came into the chat and was unable to view gallery images. They can easily view the thumbnails when cruising the galleries, but when it comes to the actual fullsize pictures, no luck The latest victim is: prayas He's on a DSL connection, so speed shouldn't be an issue, i.e. I dont think the connection's timing out. He also doesn't run a firewall That's all the information I got. If anyone knows what's going on, please let him know first, and if you find a fix, please put it up here.

I wonder if he's using Windows XP and/or IE 6.x I've had similar problems on my laptop. What I had to do was go into the settings for Cache size and such and play around with those. Delete the cookies, clear out all off-line content.. download updates, etc., etc... Finally ending with a nice reboot... Now, finally, it works. First time since I got the laptop that it has. What was the cure? Not really sure which step cured it for me since I pretty much did 'em all at once. I am thinking it was re-setting the cache size (even if I did lower it from 120 megs to 40 megs). If not that, then perhaps the clearing of off-line content and cookies. Worth a shot. :)

I don't think any of what you did was the cure. I too run XP with IEv6 and for two days I was unable to view large pictures. Then, without doing anything to my system I started viewing them again. The interesting thing is this same thing occured to my laptop running NT4sp6.a over the same 2 days. I did nothing to it either and viewing the large pictures abilities also came back to it. So, I think a)there is a glitch of some kind here or b)there is a bandwidth issue.

I cant view them either. im running win 98 and on dsl. For the last 3 days or so I cant view the gallery images, just the thumbnails. :(
