I have taken a mesh a named all the parts correctly in Raydream 5.5. Exported this correctly, so that I have a single mesh with named parts. Phi builder and UVmapper both read this character correctly. However, the hip abdomen and chest do not show up after using the PHI file. Does anybody have a clue why? I even tried just importing the hip chest and abdomen as a new object, and had the same problem. Help pleas!! gray

Can you import the whole figure.obj into Poser? If it appears with no mid section, render the scene. Does it appear now?

yes, I can import into poser and see the entire object and it renders fine. Just can't pose it. The Phi file creates a perfect character just without mid section.

Body part name error? upper/lower case annomoly? Parts set to hidden in hierarchy window? If I could see the files I may be able to work it out. pcooke@mis.net
