Trying to improve this scene, any suggestions??? I know its bare right now, im gonna add some objects, just not sure what...

Maybe a spoon....looks great though. Sharen how about a crack in the wall or a fly on the cup

hmm, make the light a natural "afternoon light and add something that gives a shadown from off scene. Like light coming through a window or something. That'd be my suggestion. For what it's worth. :c)

Or you could spill some sugar on the counter. :c)

This pic sucks compared to yours, but...it took 5 min, gimme a break. This may not work for you but...I, myself, really like the look of a semi-gloss to gloss painted wall. I try to give it a irregular bump, and some slight reflection, probably too much reflection. I think your wall texture/bump looks slightly too uniform. That's really all, it looks great! Try to think what you are trying to express and you will get a better idea what your picture needs. Do a search on "Still Life" in google and see what happens.
