I found the stretch under the Selection menu but it is not interactive...you move the slider and then it happens. Sometimes you need to adjust only one vertiex of the cage to stretch say one side or one corner. I don't know how to do that or even if it is possible. Also, Ken...I'm really looking forward to the tutorial...please let us know ASAP. BTW...U DA MAN! Chris
If you chose the vertices with the select/move tool, or the marque tool, then using the select/move tool you can move them to wherever you want. For that matter, you can use the scale tool in the model room and scale the model, but I think you have to scale the whole thing, not just portions of it. Hope this helps!

I am trying to make a cartoon-type head so I can play around with bones for facial animation but I'm having a hard time shaping the face. I go into the vertex modeller, insert sphere, & then want to elongate (vertically). I go over to the Browser tray and use the stretch modifier but nothing happens in the viewports when I increase the %. So then I go and insert a sphere in the model room and then go back to the Assemble room where I can use the stretch modifier from the Properties tray, elongate vertically, and then when I flip back to the Model room to adjust vertices and make the face, I find the sphere hasn't changed to the shape I created in the assemble room. I'm probably overlooking something simple so if anyone can help me I wouold be very approeciative. thanks, Chris
