I don't know this technique either but it sounds interesting. This is a lovely image Michelle, I like the fading at the edges but I think you're right it needs something to make that more a part of the image. Gorgeous depth of colour you have got there ; )

Michelle, when I first read your message here and saw the image, I hesitated for a moment as I remembered and thought that "polaroid emulsion lifting" and "polaroid image transfer" were the same... ...But, a short search in the net showed that they are quite related, yet have their unique differences. Thanks for letting me update my info about these subjects... :) As for the image here... ...I think this is realy beautiful, esp. for the borders, colors, and the blurred and tiny flowered foliage. Above is a link that I found while I was searching in Google for "polaroid transfer", yet you may already be knowing this...Doruk...thank you for that link...beautiful work there and some examples for me to try and copy...I see what you mean now about the scratches on the other being to similar or blocky...these are excellent samples for me to emulate.
