Does this program allow you to fit clothing designed for one character to another, for example, allow Vicky 2 to wear clothing designed for Posette. Or will it just allow you to change your model, then re-size the clothing designed for that model. That's what the blurb seems to be saying, but if you are re-mapping the mesh it seems to me that you should be able to fit clothing for any character to any other character. Within limits, I don't really fancy Mike 2 in Posette's bikini, or Vicki's french maid outfit. Although whatever floats your boat.

if you want a one word answer it would be no, from what I've read about tailor it can move morphs from figures to clothes and other charactes not remap clothes to fit other characters, unless something's changed in the new version that I've missed, it would be worth it to see mike in a bikini, lol Rob

It only allows you to morph clothing to match morphs on the figure it's intended for.

Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Thank you, that's what I thought, saved myself a few dollars there

don't count it out altogether it can still be usefull

oops lost half my post then, was going to say sometime you'll want to have a dress or other piece of clothing change shape as you change the morph on your figure and tailor is the only program that can help you do it

As a neewbie, I'll take your advice c1rcle, thing is, now I've gotten bitten by the poser bug I've been buying things right & left. I'll save the few dollars now, & buy it when I'm better at using poser, I'm still working through the poser 4 tutorial. I did play around with poser 3 as a freebie from a 3d magazine but poser 4 seems to be a whole new ball game. Conforming clothing really helps when I'm posing, even if it's only moving the arms to the sides

I believe the tailer is worth having because I can have some good morphs for my P4clothes from Vicky morphs. Dutchman.

I have to say that Tailor is worth every penny I paid for it. I just wish it was around before I had bought The conformers for V2 to conform to V1's clothes. The program is great for taking those Mike and Vic 1 clothes and making them work with Mike and Vic 2. I am about to try them out with Massive Mike. He is no longer a nudist. =)

Tailor was a god-send for me. I'm working on characters for a comic strip that I'd eventually like to produce, "in a serious way." The characters were created using Vicky and Mike. I made customized morphs. They had no clothes to wear! Tailor allows me to "tailor" clothes to fit these characters. Here is a classic example, using the DAZ Adventurer's outfits. I created all these characters. I'm still a newbie at creating characters. I turn a few dials till I get what I want. But at least I have these characters, and they can have clothes, thanks to The Tailor.

Yeah, idolitry, The Tailor is worth the money no matter what you're planning to do with Poser characters. And it isn't difficult to learn, and even easier with the nifty tutorial Ron wrote. Frankly, it has become one of my favorite Poser add ons, leading to some downright silliness at times.

Thanks everybody, I'd better give my credit card a rest though, if I use it anymore I think it'll melt.

I haven't remade my tutorial to reflect the latest version of Tailor yet. I don't have as much free time since I got my job. Maybe I can find the time to re-write the tutorial next week? I haven't even run the latest version of Tailor yet!
