I got the latest update to MAT Pose Edit, and decided to try my hand at MOR Pose files. It seems so easy. Just load the figure and save the Pose file. Then I loaded the Millennium Girl Preteen, and applied the Pose file. This isn't what I expected. So what did I do wrong?

I don't know, but it looks pretty cool. At least it's symmetrical. My mistakes usually end up looking like a pile of broken polygons. Put a gold reflective mat on it and call it art!

Hah, I just needed to click the Delete All Pose Channels button. BAM, it was that easy. Now I'll be able to create and share Poser characters so easily!!! You'll probably get tired of me! Message671422.jpg

ron, i thought you were w/ me on this...... i thought you had long since figured out how 2 make mor files..... i feel sorry i didnt help you more, i remember how much frustration you had w/ it. but isnt that program awesome ron!!!!! no more code whatsoever. never have 2 touch a cr2 again. i can imagine the relief to the end of the mor file drama, lol. can you make mat files w/ it? just load a cr2, and "work" it, lol......

I'm sorry. I'm dense. I have to look over the "tutor," and really didn't understand. Maybe later I'll do one of my "infamous" tutorials?

I don't know if this works with Poser 3. I created a character, and then a MOR pose file for her. Someone else can load the "base figure," and click on the MOR pose file to create my new character. This character was created using the DAZ3D Millennium Preteen Girl as the Base. Now someone else who has the girl can load the girl, click on the MOR file and make their girl into mine! Then they save the new character into Poser.

atom, I'm not sure about that app. Check out my P-WIzard in the store. It creates MAT, MOR, and MATMOR files with a few clicks. MATMOR combines the functionality of both the texture and morphs into one file. Makes for a nice one click character load.

Congratulations Ron, Dodi looks very good. MAT Pose Edit can't properly handle pose channels extracted from a CR2 if the character has IK on. But fortunately there are no problems with morph channels.

I'm not very good at making tutorials or help files so I'd appreciate it if someone (especially you Ron) made a proper tutorial for MAT Pose Edit.

Scourge, I'd be honored to do such a project. I might need to work more closely with you. I'm just not sure when I'd have the time or energy. I'm on a creative streak, making new characters. But it seems I need some more lessons from "the morph and Poser Masters," concerning character creation, character sharing and crosstalk. Wow.

I understand that you don't have much free time because I'll soon be in the same situation. My compulsory army duty begins in the 8th of July (only one week left!) and I can only get home for weekends (not every weekend though).

Most of the Finns spend their holidays from the army in a pub but I think I'll just sleep and surf the net. So I'm ready to work with you on the tutorial but only during weekends.

I've noticed that you've been very creative recently. Keep up the good work, this community needs you. And when you have the time, e-mail me about the tutorial project.

This is going to be a real pain (the army). I'll probably get back to civil life after 362 days of serving my country. I hope I'll stay alive and get used to being bald.

I'm in the US, and had to cope with the Vietnam War in the 1960's. I joined the Army National Guard, and "did my duty" one weekend a month, and two weeks in the summer. I did that for 6 years, and got out for 7. Then I "re-upped" for another 3 years before calling it quits again. I have some idea what you're talking about. I might just go ahead and do a "mini-tutorial" on how to create a MOR pose file, if you don't mind. I've just use MAT Pose Edit to prepare Suzy for Free Stuff. She's my answer to those big-breasted super heroines! ![Message671414.jpg](http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Message671414.jpg)
