I feel sorry that you closed your web site, even if i didn't go there often, i saw useful information. But i find your decision too early. When software are in development they are some spilled information and people tend (meaning no disrespect) to jump to conclusion too fast. I go with Clay since he is a Beta tester and more inform about Bryce next installment. And i really find amusing people who don't run XP, i used windows 95, change to 98, 98 se, then ME (who i didn't like very much), change to Windows 2000 Pro (can support 2 CPU) and now i am using Windows XP Pro with software that we're made for 95 or 98 and runs very good. The first thing is try XP before putting it the bin.

But, for some people buying and trying out software tends to be exen$ive.

Well if you can afford the Bryce 5 upgrade which was $149 then you can surely afford the Windows XP Home Upgrade at $89. So I don't buy the logic behind it is too expensive. Also, many, many developers will eventually drop support for Win9x based platforms and focus on NT/2k/XP Based. So like it or not it is a reality of owning and using a computer. Upgrades are unavoidable. -PAGZone

I know Anthony, i should have said instead maybe see a friend or ask poeple that us XP for work with 3D software and to ask what they think in overall. Because i know that this is expensive. I love to have a demo for 30 days (not that long) before and see what the software is doing. I bought Bryce 3D just by looking at what the software could and i don't regret it.
