Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 02 7:25 pm)
I'm new to poser so can't explain this in detail. As for making poses of particular parts, yes, it can be done. Go look at your library on hands. That's a pose that applies only to the hands. Or same with faces. I don't know if this is a morph save or what, but it can be done. Hope to hear some tech replies to this.
You can open the pose file in a text editor (WordPad works fine). You will find that all morphs have their separate sections in the text, you will recognize the names from the dials. Just edit out the morphs that you don't want in the text file and re-save it. It might sound daunting at first to go into a file and mess around with it in a text editor, but once you looked at it and see that the structure is quite simple, it's very easy. The same goes for face and and hand poses, BTW.
Ha, been there too B). Editing a pose is an entirely valid way of doing it, and its very useful to learn how. Then you can add things in like "scale" information, strip out "rotate" and "trans" info to create pure morph poses (so you can change a body shape without moving the figure
s pose). If your really adventurous you can even do things like Ajax`s "Easypose" technology.

When I save a pose, the whole body will be saved. Can I made a pose of some parts only ? Just like only right shoulder, right forearm, and right hand. or say, only two fingers? Thx answering!
