where can i buy poser 4, prferably from a shop, are there any in london uk? please help manythanks

I picked up my copy of Poser4 from dabs, I could'nt find a shop that sold it

Must admit I bought my copy on the internet, because I couldn't find it anywhere, and Steve our local pcworld looked at me as though I was strange or something when I asked for poser, but then it is in Fulham London.

I bought Poser version 1 in an Egghead Software store in 1996. Since then, Egghead has gone out of business, and I can't remember the last time I've seen a copy of Poser in any store I've visited.

You are so wrong. The Egghead stores do not exist, at least in Florida. I have not seen any anywhere else either. And if you look at the screenshot I provided, you'll note Egghead is really Amazon.com. Look at the URL and the top of the page. So I'm not wrong, and your little rant is wasted.

By the way, here is the chronology of Egghead. 1.) Their stores disappeared, at least in Florida. 2.) A couple years or so later they went Chapter 11. They held onto the site and basically said they were hoping to sell their name to another company. 3.) Now we have Egghead Powered by Amazon.com. Guess what? The site is part of amazon.com.

Wow, Kumo muat be so happy with the help you guys are giving him! Juat to put my 2 denarians in, I'd buy Poser 4 now. It sounds like P5 is at least several months away, and you can have a lot of fun and learn a lot in that time with P4. Plus I'm sure there will be an upgrade path, so your investment will not be wasted. Sorry I couldn't be more agitated and off topic, though. Regards- Lemurtek

Thanks for bringing this back on topic. Here's my viewpoint: I already have Poser 4 and a boatload of stuff to go with it. I won't waste another dime on Poser stuff till Poser 5 arrives. However, if someone hasn't made the move to Poser 4 now, it might be a good idea. You'll have time to use a better version of Poser, and get an upgrade price.
