Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
Thanks ;). I intentionally left the polycount low on this, to make it easier to deal with until I/you decide what direction to go with it... it's pretty easy to add more polys, but not always easy to get rid of them ;). I've got another version (different approach) on the way in a few minutes.

Beautiful work, Spanki. I agree with your decision to leave the poly count low, for the precise reasons you give. Far easier, IMHO, to keep poly counts low, and then smooth later on. I really think this is a good way to promote clothes production. The basic mesh fitting is very important, but once it's done, it's really the same task for everyone making clothes for that particular figure. So why not re-use it, instead of wasting valuable modeling time ;o) Thanks for sharing it.

Spanki - let me assure you, you are stepping on no toes whatsoever. You need no permission from me, but you have my totally unnecessay blessing to publish all the base meshes you can create. The only reason my humble QS's are pay-for items is that they were created as donation items for 3DC and DSI, respectively, so I no longer own them, and so cannot put them in freestuff. I CAN put new base meshes out as freestuff, though, and I intend to - there'll be a Steph complete base mesh on PoserStyle in the not too distant future, I hope. I still think it's one of the best ways to promote Poser stuff production, and I admire people who will share their hard work in order to get other people going faster. Won't make sense giving ALL one's finished products away, of course, but the product ain't in the base mesh. It's in the detail you add later, so I vote for any effort to get people to the detaling process asap. Thanks for contributing to this effort.
