Subject: Wireframe Renders Possible??

Hi, I know poser has various display settings like wireframe, solid, filled solid, full etc and was wondering is it possible to render using these? Ie if i display a model in wireframe can i render it as wireframe? I looked in the render options and couldnt find anything to render with current display settings. What i am doing is just taking a screen grab of the poser window and pasteing it into a paint package but alas that doesnt help when i want to make the wireframe model transparent so a background image will show through it. I usually save the rendered images from poser as tiffs then select the alpha channel and remove the background that way but with a screen grab this is not possible. Thank you

I can think of a way.. but not sure if it's practical.. if you have the template for the character you want to render, you could do a little transmap, use the template as the texture(coloured to your desire).. ? I'm new so I'm not sure.. but that's how I'd do it.. and therefore it's probably wrongL cheerz Dolph.

Use the Make Movie feature and render to sequenced image files (tif) using display settings and antialias. Set your display to wireframe etc..

Thanks to all that replied I just figured if i select wireframe display and then export the image as is before normally rendering, it works and saves as a tiff!!! lol Simple even for the likes of me :)

Yes, but making a large render is difficult that way.

Get your image the way you want it on screen, then go to Render> Antialias Document, et viol Good luck.

Just set up your wireframe display and then go to the "render" pulldown and select "antialias this window" (or however it's worded. That will produce a sharp version of the wireframe. Scarab
