Thanks for all the nice comments....EricofSD I would very much like the url.....Sharen I really appreciate your comment! You are great! Willowjune, as far as the clouds...I just made a bunch of stones and applied "fuzzy cloud" in the volume material area and played with the material editor just a bit. I then highlighted all of the stones and used the 3d disperse size and rotate tool. I like the clouds but I can see where they just don't look right. What kind of things do you see in the clouds??? I can see 3 dogs and a human ear....Well that's what I see. Again, thanks to all for your wonderful comments!! It's because of you all that I keep trying......:-) Joey
Extrusiontek, the clouds are very good looking, but a little bit too regular. Beside the things that others recommended, you could download a freeware called Bantam3D Scatter from http://www.bantam3d.com/. It creates clones of objects, varying the size and orientation, so you get something more random, and groups them as a single importable object. But more clones means a bigger file, of course. BTW, in my experience, lattices make better clouds than stones.

EricofSD-- I keep getting a weird 'Forbidden' screen when I try to access the tuts listed above...? I just bought Foleypro's Clouds for Poser, but haven't had time to play with it yet. Looks like it should work in Bryce, too. He gives you a bunch of nice jpegs of clouds in skies to work with. I also read a tutorial about applying images to sym lattices that had some impressive illustrations with it, but I'll be darned if I can find it today (!!@*?!) He used more than one in some images and lit them really creatively...... I'll keep an eye out for it.
