The puzzle boxes have been uploaded, and added to the renderosity freebies section, hope you all like them. They've been broken down into 9 items, the full zip of all them was 12 megs, so i broke them down to single items, that way u can just get the ones ya want :) and saves time downloading :)kaibach I thought the same when Bloodline finished, but the next one Hellraiser Inferno is set before Bloodline, remember the last thing pinhead said was "you cannot kill me, I am forever". caleb are the boxes from the comics? I must dig out my hellraiser/nightbreed jihad comics and have a read of them again. I had the chance to buy one of the boxes used in the movies but my wife threw a fit when she saw the price 450 so I didn't get it :( Rob
All 15 puzzle boxs / Music boxes were accual creations. In the year of 1749, LeMarchand produced fifteen documented puzzle / music boxes is Paris.. Each one being unique, and having its own dark history to it. No, the puzzle boxes / music boxes aren't from a comic or from a movie, they were based off of the original box designs from the 1700's. There were other puzzle boxes designed and made in other country's later on, 1750 in spain, 1751 in newyork, and so on. The movie Hell raiser used the design of one of these puzzle boxes ( The Threnody Configuration "Mock Of The Infidel" ) and Expanded on its dark history like most writers. For example take Stephen King, he takes real places and transforms them into something intrest. Sorry i've only seen the first one, and i think bloodline, the space one... but the boxes came before the movie. You can get recreations of the real boxes for 100+, i haven't seen a duplicate of the ones used in the movies but there probably intresting too.

I am afraid you have left me no choice but to contact the staff at Renderosity. Please remove all of my art from your homepage and freebies files. You are infringing on copywritten material and legal action will be taken! This is your last warning! Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administrator The Pyramid Gallery http://www.cenobite.com/PyramidGallery/Attached Link: http://www.cenobite.com/PyramidGallery/
BTW- You can tell that all of the designs were "lifted" from our 3D java displays because all of the edges on your designs are cropped halfway off! You took screenshots of our art from those 3D java displays and used them in poser! Anyone who follows my link can do the investigating for themselves! Grow Up! Lichtor - Assistant Gallery AdministratorDude, i don't know what your problem is, I've gotten these from various places all over the net, I used original black n' white images for the first ones i made. Weather or not they originally came from your site I don't know, I stated a fact on how i got them and now your jumping down my throat? wtf? There free, there's not quams to who's they are. I can even post images of the original unworked pictures that i used for the first ones because I still have them, would you like to see?

Would you mind giving me a list of your resources? To my knowledge (which is extensive when it comes to my own website and the art that I payed a high price for.) there is no other place to get these pics at all. These designs are not free. I have payed high prices for the quality of art found on my site. You did wrong by lifting these from me. Admit it. Remove the art and I will go my merry way. Otherwise, I will invite the offended artists to this forum to really straigten things out. Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administrator PS-Lets hear from the other board members on this infringement. What are your thoughts on this?Attached Link: http://www.cenobite.com/PyramidGallery/
The Lament Configuration is owned by another party. All of the other Configurations are owned by the Pyramid Gallery and its respected artists. Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administratorlets see if i can do this as nice as possible... hate it when people get mad for no real reason... here's the letter im writting to pyramid graphics sense i don't know who this lichtor is: To: PyramidGallery@sbcglobal.net Subject: Attn: Pyramid Gallery To whom it may concern, I don't know who it is, someone named Lictor is threating to sue me saying i used your images on some free items i assimbled for people to use in poser. Im not selling them, I most of the images from all over the net, even have the black and whites that were used to create them. I don't know who this guy is but, he did act very unprofessional. I stated the fact that I had gotten the images from all over the internet, doing searches with coppernic for lemarchand, I pulled the images off of various websites, reworked them and assimbled them to place them on a 3d model so others could use and injoy them, and it felt like he jumped down my throat because of it. A Renderosity member (Kai) posted the link to your site, and i did assimble 4 boxes, the last ones I added, from your site however. I'm not asking anyone pay me for them, and I don't claim any rights to the images that are on the model for the cube. I really don't see what the big problem is with it. If the original images were lifted from you from the various other sites, I apologize for not knowing thats where they came from. I would like to come to a reasonable solution to this problem so that others may continue to use and enjoy the puzzle boxes in there 3d art. The Message thread where this all took place resides at: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=778729 The puzzle boxes Poser Props are avaible at http://www.darkfaction.com/resources.shtml and clicking the Puzzle Box Link. People injoy these items and I would like to see them remain avaible to the public, please contact me so that we can work something out if you do have a problem. Sincerely, Arthur Newkirk The Dark Faction http://www.darkfaction.com/ Hopefully i will get in contact with someone there at pyrimd gallery who is willing to discuss this in a mature adult manner, and work a plosable solution out so that the people on the net can continue to injoy these as poser props. If any of you are wanting them, i suggest you grab em' now while i work on this. sighs why can't people just get along?
Caleb, This is Lichtor. I am the creator of the Pyramid Gallery. I have worked for over five years on the Pyramid Gallery and you will forgive me if I get a bit hot when the art that I payed for is given for free on another site. Please pull all of the boxes from your darkfaction page as well as those offered at Renderosity. (with the exception of the Lament Configuration, which is not owned by Pyramid Gallery.) Please honor my requests. I never intended for this to escalate to this type of confrontation, but I have no choice but to defend my work and the work of all of the Pyramid Gallery's commissioned artists. Thank you for your cooperation. Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administrator "To truly understand art, the artist must restructure the world and himself." http://www.cenobite.com/PyramidGallery/
Forgive my ignorance, but how is it that the Pyramid Gallery artists own the designs to replicas? "Featuring the intricately designed box replicas of French architect, artisan and designer Philip LeMarchand." Are the designs original or are they replicas of LeMarchand's?

LeMarchand is a fictional character. The artist's were hired to design boxes based on Hellraiser Mythology. They are 100% original. The Pyramid Gallery site is in Pseudo-documentary style. (Basing real art objects on a fictional history. The same idea that was used for the Blair Witch Project.) Thank you for question. Best regards, Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administrator
well i'm removing the links for now, im just going to redraw the boxes myself by hand, scan them in and use those for the boxes, this will probably take me a few weeks to get done however. So for now there removed. No His kipe is the art, aparently everyone on the net that i have visited in search of the boxes has snagged images from him to use. so... hand drawing them myself is the simplest solution. u can kick a old horse but ya can't keep them down.
"Philip LeMarchand is actually a creation of Clive Barker, contray to popular belief he never actually exsited" Thanks for that clarification. I suppose you wouldn't know unless you were a Hellraiser fan, and it explains why I couldn't find any information on Amazon :))

Kaibach wrote: "how do the new boxes fit into the mythology as carried on by Hellraiser - Bloodline? In that it's implied that LeMarchand only created the Lament. I know that further boxes were featured in Hellbound, but I got the feeling they were made by others?" All of the Hellraiser movies feature the Lament Configuration. The Hellraiser comics alluded to several other designs, but they were never developed into actual 3D boxes. That has been the job of The Pyramid Gallery. Other artists (fictional and nonfictional) are featured at the Pyramid Gallery. (Reiss Kunst, Albertus Magnuss) The gallery touches on the conspiracies of ancient secret societies and how they relate to the Hellraiser Mythos. ATTENTION RENDEROSITY ARTISTS: I do send full scans of Pyramid Gallery box designs (edges and all) to artists who ask permission to do a art piece. I just require that the gallery gets a link with the art and that the gallery can display a copy of the art (with credit to the artist) Write me at: PyramidGallery@sbcglobal.net Peace, Lichtor - Assistant Gallery AdministratorAttached Link: http://www.cenobite.com/PyramidGallery/
Sorry friend, they were not yours to post without permission. Being an artist yourself, I am sure you understand, right? Maybe we could start fresh with a private e-mail request? Just a idea. Peace, Lichtor - Assistant Gallery Administrator THE PYRAMID GALLERYThe problem is, i did send in a email to pyramid gallerys, asking for a possible solution to solve the problem, and u tell me i have to remove them all. My email was nice, and honest from what i can tell, unless someone else is thinking for me... eek thats a scary thought... anyhoo... i was nice about it, asked for a solution to overcome this so that they could be avaible on the net for people and your only solution was 'remove them'. Then right after i send you a email saying they they have been removed, you tell everyone 'oh contact me and i'll give them to you for free' after you said 'i don't want the art being given away for free'. Yes, i am a little upset at this point.

Caleb, Whether the art was being given away for free or not has never been the point. My contention has always been that you were not giving credit where credit was due. The artists who made these boxes deserve that consideration. And as the administrator of the gallery, I reserve the right to commission the panel art as I see fit.
