Anyone know what's causing this and how I can fix it? This figure was fine last time I opened the file, near the end of january. I've since installed the 117 patch. When I open the file this is what I see. You're basically looking at the poser 4 nude woman using the 'Matsumi' character found in characters-female; the leotard, some shuriken from the dark props set, the boots that come with poser 4, and the cylinder object. Finished off with a custom texture. When I take the matsumi character straight out of characters menu and put boots on her though they load up fine. But on this old save if I delete those two boots and apply new ones they still end up wrong.

Try turning off the IK for the boots and re-conforming them. Mike

Should I then turn it back on after I conform and save? I'll give it a test run tonight. I just went to test this on the Mac and when I opened the file there she came up fine. My Mac copy is on the same patch version. So as a test on the Mac I turned off the IK for each boot and they went haywire. Poping up and behind her. Then I re conformed them and they fit fine. Of course on the Mac they also fit fine before I turned off the I.K. When I flip I.K. back on after the reconform they still look ok. So as an additional experiement I turned off I.K. again and they got wierd. Then I turned it back on and rather than go back in place they got wierder (moving to the side of her and bunching up). Strange indeed. I'll know what I get on the PC tonight.

I've had strange results like this with Posing the PROP instead of the character... That could be it. I also had my P4 Nude Woman become corrupted; it was IMPOSSIBLE to pose her; looked like moving spaghetti around. Bizarre. Upgrading fixed this, fortunately!
