Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 26 9:02 am)
Select the prop, open properties (ctrl+i) and in the dialog box, click on 'set parent' When the hierarchy window opens, select the figure you want to parent it to, click OK, then save the prop to the library. Poser will ask if you want to make it a smart-prop. Click yes. The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask. mac
As Les said, don't use 'Select Subset' when saving.....BUT ... if you ever want to save TWO props together in the library, then 'Select Subset' is just what you need. Say you have a necklace and a cross for it, both seperate props, you can save them as one by using 'Select Subset'. When the dialog box opens, go down the list and select both items. They will be saved as one. Just remember that you'd have to use it any time you ever resave them. mac

Is there any way to make a pre existing prop into a smart prop?
