Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 22 10:18 pm)
I don't know about that, when Everquest had it's expansion, and Dark Age of Camelot was released, the people camping outside the local software stores was amazing. And yes, someone did book a bus full of people for the trip to the distributers so they could get it as soon as it was released. It's actually kinda fun camping the release of new software, sometimes mor fun thatn the software itself ;) JDexter
We should just take a breath and relax with what we all have, I know it is exciting, but I would prefer not to rush them and make sure it is almost a perfect piece of software by the time I get it. I too am excited, but I think I can wait.....hmmmmmm.....now that I think about it maybe I can't......see I am already getting more excited just talking about it.....hey where it that bus we are to get on for CL.....Sharen
...you kno jchimim, they did just repave our parking lot and add a very decorative wooden chinese temple looking thing to our trash area... ...or for those of you who live in exciting tropical locations, I am SURE that kupa would allow you to pay for me to fly and deliver your copy of Poser 5...I prefer first class. :) your cl cs gal, tori
Sure I know James Herbert. Didn't he write 'The Fog'? Actually, I prefer Frank Herbert. LOL Steven King is about the only horror writer I read. I did try....er....what's his name? The one who wrote 'Cabal' and 'Hellraiser'. British geezer. Oh well, him... mac PS James Herriot - from Glasgow, like me. Love the books! PPS I might camp out for an autograph from George Orwell or Mervyn Peake, but that's about it! The only good author's a dead one....usually! LOL
The Fog? That wasn't the source of a certain movie of the same title was it? Plot (IIRC): Developers look at scenic Califonia property already occupied by a leper's colony. They pack the lepers into a ship and send them out to sea, scuttling the boat, after which they build a lovely resort community over the ashes of the old one. 100 years later (when the movie begins) they are celebrating the birthday of the town when the fog rolls in from the ocean. Zombie Lepers (or leprous zombies?) come out of the fog terrorizing everybody. I think the final scenes were on top of a lighthouse where somebody was trying to radio for help? Is this close? Carolly
