Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 11:02 am)
You are gonna have to have a pz2 to add a MAT file. So the jpgs don't enter into that. I throw all jpegs into an appropriate subfolder in the Textures folder. Actually I dont do that for hair textures which I change alot and have made my own varients-- those have no mat files and neither do many freebies-- so I keep them in an easier to find place-- Hair in My Docs, with the style in subfolders. Excuse the terminology here, haven't messed with Poser in a while. When loading a free figure into poser, say I want to add a hair mat, hair style, etc. I got from the web, where is it that put the JPG file that comes with the figure so that it shows up on the menu selection? Specifically asking concerning "Transmapped Hair 'Morph Hair" from kozaburo. It has two files, one I know is a texture, and the other one looks like a preview of it on a poserette.
