does anybody know any possible way to export poser animations into 3D studio max? can you save the animation as ONE file instead of 1 3ds file for every frame? Any help is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Does 3D Studio Max allow you to import BVH motion files? If so, you could export the BVH, save 1 frame of the figure as a .3DS, then reassign the BVH to it in Studio Max. If not, that's a fairly useless suggestion. :^)

I am writing a Poser->MAX conversion program, and it will be ready soon. It converts the animations to MAX via a single 3ds file and it fixes the texture mapping problem perfectly, without splitting the faces, and hence the smoothing. Send me an email to get on the contact list. konan@spacemoose.com p.s. It is a commercial project, but the price will be more than reasonable and it will be well worth it.
