I don't know, but there IS a ripple plugin IN Adobe Photoshop. Right now I'm not on my Adobe-PC, (I'm at work...) so I can't tell you the exact name but there IS one :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

i think what you are looking for is a applet. there is a program called anfy that will automatically do this for you. and, if you leave their credit lines in your script, it is free. here is a link.No what you'll need in that case is a program like Kai's Power Goo, it can make ripples in pictures that can be exported as AVI's. Those AVI's can then be converted to animated gifs by almost all animation proggies. I'm not sure. Perhaps Power Goo exports as gif as well, it's been a while since I've used the program. Oh and it also goes by the name of Super Goo. Afaik it's the same program just with a new owner. btw it was created by good ol' Meta Creations ;o)

I've just got an idea... [hey don't laff] If you made some pictures with the photoshop-ripple effect in various phases and THEN assembled the prictures in for example Animation Shop (comes with Paint Shop Pro), you would get an animated gif in the end. With no need to buy extra software. And PSP can be downloaded in a free trial version with a fully functional Animation Shop :o)

there is a program called Flagimation (http://www.pegtop.de) which can make animated 'ripple' graphics. Unfortunately, the current version is unavailable from their website but a mirror for the 14-day shareware version is listed above. I made a quickie ani gif of the R'osity logo to serve as an example :-)Attached Link: http://fantasyinspirations.8m.com/lake-ani.html
There is a wave animation tutorial for PSP and Animation Shop at Fantasy Inspirtations - would probably work with PS. No Plugins needed!Attached Link: http://www.hirsch-design.de/plugins.html
