it won't render so you have to manually export the image. ALot of program "flunky" procedurals can be great for making textures.

That's easy enough to fix, just go into the light properties and uncheck visible. Looks cool!

IS there anyone who knows how the different controls affect the outcome? I fiddled with it for an hour, and couldn't manage to get it to do much but either create a mass of LOOOONG hair, or really short dots on the vertices. I also tried to make the colors like you all did, but couldn't manage to change the color? Al

You can use a programm called FurFur to make .obj's out of the fur. I don't know how it works as I haven't tried it.you can change the color in the material editor :)

Fur Progtam is cool. That is how I made Full & Feathered except I placed them by hand. Perfect example of repetative transmapped geometry.

Oh well, looks to be working fine in Poser 5, that's all that matters to me.
The above image is the ball prop with hair processed through Masa's FurFur tool.
Check this out, is it remotely possible that it was a basis for the Sketch Editor? The reason it sketches is that it sketches a rendition of the current display, to prove it, get the red border around a part and open the sketch editor. If you do it right and render in color, it will render the border in red!
