I have been working on props for "Critical Mass", and am trying to figure out how to make somthing with pleets posable. So the question is, do you all think it would be better if it were comformable, or a smart prop with lots of morphs? -Gabe-

You can't have it be both morphable AND conforming? If not, then just go for morphable, IMO, if this includes "bending" for realistic leg poses.

Both would be damn cool, but I'd go for the morphs too.

Morphaholics all of ya! Here's what I suggest: Do whatever is easiest for you to do first. Do it as a basic version. If it doesn't look like it's going to turn out the way you want, use the other method. Personally I prefer conforming clothes (not making 'em, just using 'em). Good luck.

You'll need both. Conforming so it moves with the wearer and morphing so it can move without the wearer. Morphs for twist and flare, which are things the underlying figure won't do, but make for more realistic movement.

JohnW is right, for the very best results you'll need it to be both conforming and to have morphs. Cool kilt BTW :) Paul

Yup - both. the legs of a running figure don't flare out behind like the kilt will... And would you mind if this got used as teh template to build some Japanese armour? I can't get the damn thing I have to bend the right ways!

Conformable problem. We all know the horrid hip problem with comfroming skirts, and that is what is driving me crazy the pleetes get really screwed up when conforming, because of the hips. Morphs are proving to be just as much of a pain in the ... -Gabe-
