We've posted a new Beta update for Poser 4 (update 118). We REALLY hope this is the final update. Once we have full working installers, and the update is deemed good, it will be posted at MetaCreations as well. http://host-1.ghosteffects.com/poser/patch/patch.html

Thanks Larry Much appreciated. Each patch is an improvement. I have had few crashes with 117. Provided I save often and allocate at least 175 Mbytes (Mac). If I allocate 100 or so I get all sorts of crashes and system error messages. Even with 175 MB it pays to relaunch now and again during the day to free memory-other wise Iget the dreaded-Not enough Memory for Shadow Map...And the textures all dissapear from view-and down it goes...But I still love the program! Thanks again, Eric Walters

Once again I,m thrilled to see continued support for my (our) favorite program! I want to express my gratitude to the whole team who worked on the patch dispite the metacreations shake-up. It means more to the end users than even they may realize! Thank you once again!

Although I haven't installed any of the patches (as Poser has been very stable on my machine and I haven't encounterd many issues), I too would just like to express my sincere appreciation for all the development team's efforts in continuing to support this wonderful program. I have used Poser since Poser 1 and have always accomplished much with it. Thank you.

there you are! first, thanks for making figure symmetry read EVERYTHING and anything that matches names from the l and r sides to copy joint parameters! it saves tons of hours! second, i went to build ik chains in the hierarchy editor and dreaded the long sessions of dragging things around through the whole screen just to get them to the bottom.... when lo and behold, the closed branches in the editor STAYED CLOSED!!! oh!!! im SO HAPPY!!! you have saved my sanity!! (um, well, you were too late on that, actually, but at least i'm not getting worse, now!) :) thanks so much!
