Looks like you got it! You can do the hair 2 ways 1. Use a tex map. 2. Pick a color from Bryce. I tend to use tex maps. Bryce can give you some great renders but remember to set your lights to a red color or she will look washed out. Spike

To tell you the truth, I don't even know now what I did now. I'm following so many instructions so many different ways, I think I have to leave this thing alone for a while. One group of instructions tell me to go to the bottom of the screen and pick up meshes. Another tells me to keep my mouse on the object to deselect while I have the control key down, I'm getting too confused. I hated Bryce when I 1st got it and was just starting to recover and try again. I just don't get this @#!%$*& thing. So thanks guys for trying. I'm just a lost cause in regards to Bryce!
It's not you personally. I have so many tutes printed up and am trying everything. But what gets me really mad is that the Poser manual says one thing that sounds so simple and that's a darn lie. I've followed their instructions to a t with no results. The Bryce manual sucks too and they are also Metacreations. Every bit of info is from the net and everyone has a different way of doing it. I'm one who is self taught by reading. In my younger days I've taught myself to paint in various media including etching and became proficient enough to support me and my 5 kids so I know I'm not a dummy unless old age is causing me a mental block. However in my later years I taught myself how to quilt and now teach the procedure. Have had my work all over the world and have a book coming out about it. I've also taught myself how to design a web page. I cannot understand why this prog brings me to the point of utter stupidity. I can manipulate Poser fairly well but Bryce? It just does not come to me so back to the tutes. Maybe something someday will click.
I understand that and hope you want to keep trying and if you want to just let me know and I will try to talk to you .. My tutorial, as it was, was mostly the quick and simplified version. Bryce a lot of times can be confusing but I have grown used to the interface. I still have trouble with the material editor at times but I can get by with it. And the manual isn't much of a help since it was poser 3 to bryce 3 and poser 4 to bryce 4 in a lot of ways ... But if you want a more detailed explanation I would be happy to try to help
