Try using your graphic as both a texture map, annd a trans map.
okay...i think you want to make everything but the hairs transparent, right....just use the lasso tool, and cut out the bottom part in sections...like making a psp picture tube....then, fill those sections with black.... do it holding down your shift key, to add to the selection, each time you lasso one of them off. then, reverse selection, and paint the hairs white.
yes i can do those kind of textures, its getting hair to do what its supposed to. i guess would be like the hair you can find in freebies. how it has a transmap and when its rendered in poser it looks real. that is what im trying to do with that texture. but i cant seem to do it right and i dont understand how.

k i spelled that wrong, anyway, I want to make this look like its it r/t on a dress for poser, how do i make it transpant correctly? The samples are there so no one steals my very expensive scanned fabric.
