Looks good, Anthony. In case you wanted add more detail, Flaming Pear makes some excellent space type photoshop plugins. There are free trials for the star/nebula one and the planet making one. I can't remember the names. www.flamingpear.com

The photos are all high-res NASA images :-).

Well, yeah, NASA used those plug-ins. LOL

The art looks good, but using "unto" is not good syntax. Maybe "into" would work better.

We're not taxing sin in this forum now are we? [grin] My first impulse was to feel guilty. "My gosh, we destroyed his artistic vision!" I must admit, though, this looks much more mysterious and intriguing. Put it away. Don't look at it a few days. Then come back to it and see how you feel about it. We all have opinions. Some even have training in visual aesthetics. But... it's your cover!

Before they made me they broke the mold!

Destroying my artistic vision? A) I'm FAR too thick-skinned (and thick-headed) for that! B) My book is a chattel product like any other and market research is critical. And lest I forget, the results of everyone's feedback, as seen above, are pretty damned amazing- in my not-at-all humble opinion! So again, a HUGE THANK YOU! :-) Anthony H.

I like the image now. But I think his back is too bruight when you think of that star in front of him. Of course there might be another star behind him, but somehow it gives me a feeling of "person slammed on top of a photo" and not a feeling of "person floating in space" The concept is very nice though, I like that more than the first. Not sure about the second cover (Forward unto yesterday) I think the ship looks a bit cartoonish compared to the earth. But that might be intentional.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

i wanted to reply to your initial message but forgot... funny, but i was also going to suggest to put the guy on the more prominent space and to drop the ship. :) for the second one: i think it's a bit cluttered in the middle. too much detail. crescent earth and moon would be more suitable and dramatic. "forward into yesterday" - beginnings, dawn & stuff are associations... good work!

"One Moon Circles...." from Star Treck. That's what it reminded me of. I might open the book. At this resolution the brownish patch under the wing distracts the eye, but I bet in hires, it looks terrific. As for the "unto" thing, sounds biblical, therefore it might be just right. Happy galley(ing)... Q
