Cool, nice work, I whipped out my red-blues and had a peek ... nice. I love anaglyps as well. But, if you want to see TRUE-3D, check out [this thread](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=731793), where I mention how I use Poser for creating real holograms.Regards,
Tim
The gun came out about 8 feet! (Duck your head!)
It's hard to do the hologram justice in a picture or video of course. I'll attach a video of it (which is better than a picture) if you want.

Thanks for your comments Tim. I didn't download your vid because it is too big and my computer time outs when it downloads for too long. Maybe if you were to cut your vid it up in segments it might make downloading a little easier. I have been fasinated with 3d pics (anaglyph & stereoscopic) since I saw an IMAX film early this year. I am not sure about the theory or technology of holograms. I'm curious do they use lasers to creat them? Anyway now that I have learnt the theory of anaglyph and stereoscopic still pics I want to work on 3d video and animations. It still gets confusing when I say 3d. Is it 3d or 3d? Who knows? That is the question. 3dfilmdag
True, Charlie. But, did you know you can actually make a hologram with JUST a laser pointer? It's true, hard to believe, but true. They don't look great, but they're actually not too bad. Also, on the other extreme, if you use a double-Yag laser, you're looking at around 220+ mJoules!! But, of course, these are used as pulse lasers for portraits, and are only fired for about 10 nanoseconds. WHAM-BAM-THANK-YOU-MAM. Wel;, there's more than you probably wanted to know about holography. ;-) -Tim
timoteo1: That's what I'm talkin about!! Took a class in Holograms and Lasers once and got to make Crystal halogen and Dieclomate holograms with Fred (??) the guy who did the covers for National Geographic. His wife liked my scene of USPA Wings hatching from a dragon's egg so much she had me make an extra for her private collection. Fasinating science!

Anyway enough hoo hah... here is a picture I created on Poser tonight. This picture doesn't need 3d glasses to see the effect. It uses the crosseyed method. Simply cross your eyes until both the pictures merge together.
