Looks good so far, pretty clean and polished. Just a suggestion, try smoothing out the figure's edges a little when you begin post-render work (most notably, his left shoulder/forearm). I don't see too many people do that, and it can make a big difference. But since this is a WIP, you probably knew that already... ;) Thanks for sharing! SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.
Hint - set the eyes to -.001 ztrans. The eyes on the default figures is always too far out of their sockets. And PLEASE consider spawning a single morph and posting it. I would like to add this to my other male figure. I am really tired of not having "characters" and making due with the dork. DEATH TO THE DORK! UP WITH CHARACTER!!
Well, I posted a long message to the group about my character, but it didn't seem to show up, so I'll try again. SnowS - I have tried to take those jagged edges out, but it always looks too blurry or warped. I hope the problem will correct itself once I import it into Bryce. crossing my fingers Dreamspinner - I can't promise that it'll look anything like him, but I'll give it a try. I didn't know who he was until I searched today, and he's a babe, so it'll be fun. How about a texture and some hair? I'm not good at either of those. Ikyoto - Actually, those eyes are pulled back, but I guess the real eyes are compensating for that adjustment. I'll have to yank 'em back some more and see if that works better. TO everyone else, thanks for the comments and praise. Last night I did it on a whim, and I'm glad I did. It's a big creative boost for me and I needed it. As for posting it to the funstuff section, I would be more than happy to, but I have two problems: I don't really know how to get the morph out of the character and I have no where to host the file. If someone could point me in the direction of a free one, I'd be very happy. As for the texture, since it is not mine, I can't post it. It was done, I think, by someone named Pam -- the same one who did the Newford texture. Most of the glow though, comes from the lighting, I think. Martin Murphy in "The Queen" tutorial suggests taking two lights red and blue and letting them merge over the skin of the character to give an appearance of both warmth and coolness. I don't know why it works, but I know it does because even the default texture can look kinda nice using this technique. Anyway, I am off to work on the woman character for my piece. I'll post the final when I'm done so you can all see what has become of my de-dorkified poser dude. Thanks again, Lynda
