Here are just a few that were valid at one time, you might try them out: Animations (URL alphabetical order): ------------------------------------------------------------ http://buh.sj.ca.us/fractals/ http://members.aol.com/lukeplant/fractals/anim.html http://members.aol.com/RBarn0001/ http://runetek.hypermart.net/ (Win95/98 startup screens) http://soma.tvk.rwth-aachen.de/PhatFractal/ http://web.cnam.fr/fractals.html http://www.crosswinds.net/athens/~jgal/Fractals.html http://www.cygnus-software.com/fxmplugin/ http://www.fractalmovies.com/ http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Museum/2621/ http://www.iglobal.net/lystad/fractal-top.html http://www.metaverse-portal.com/ http://www.netmonkey.com/shlep/hop/ http://www.organised-chaos.com/ http://www.oz.net/~alden/animfrac/animfrac.html http://www.phatfractal.com/ http://www.runetek.com/ http://zadig.cnam.fr/fractals.html If you wish links for fractal movies, let me know.I generate Fractal animations with Tierazon and Tierazon 2. They produce uncompressed .AVI files. Then Adobe Premiere is used to encode them to .AVI files with a DV video codec. The DV encoded video is kept as my base format. I will re-compress those if I want to make something for the Web or to burn a DVD. Does anyone have a favorite program for generating Fractal animations?

"ChaosPro" is fairly nice for creating animations and has additional features for various effects, such as morphing or using layers where one fractal zooms out, the other one zooms in. Several of the animation PAR files may be downloaded from the the following location: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chaospro/files Some other ones I use are written by Terry Gintz, such as the programs "QuaSZ" and "Fractal Zplot".This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
