I've had a load of mails lately asking about Poser to Max tutorials so until Konans plugin is ready heres how to do it the old way :o) http://the-internet-eye.com/HOWTO/2000/PosertoMax/default.htm And speaking of the Internet EYE http://www.3dmodelworld.com is now open and full of textures......Steve

Hello Steve Thanks for your tutorial poser to max. I create with max all my props, hope your the man who could give me the answer about my problem: I load the head from the geometrys folder in max for the reference. After i've created the headpiece (for example) and exported it as an object-file, the prop would not fit correct in poser. It's always a little bit behind, do you know what i have to do to eliminate this problem ? Thanks SHARKEY

I've been getting loads of problems with re-sizing in the new version too...I haven't really looked into how to fix it though I just used 3ds instead as these come in and out at the right size........thing is i always finish off in cinema, doing the materials ect. coz i know my way around it better so its not been a big prob for me.......there is an old thread on the max forum which shows the obj plugin settings if you hunt that down it might help......Steve

NOt sure this went out the first time. Steve, I tried you tutorial and could not get it to work. I am using 3Dmax 2.5 could this be the probelm? Tarheel

There was a problem with seams showing in 2.5 but UVmapper will fix this (check out steves site for details).....there could be other things in 2.5 too what problem are you getting (its been a while since I used it)........Steve

I can't get the texture to show up in the actual materials library. Plus the figure isn't smooth when I render it in max. any help would be great. Where is steves site? Thanks Tarheel
