ok so this doesnt have anything to do with poser 5, but i thought it might get more people in here:P Here is a pic i am working on...tell me what you think! SOMEBODY?!?!?! The hair and clothes were done in photoshop. any comments on how to make it more realistic? thanx for viewing!

the hair loks really dark...darker than i painted it..

The folds in the fabric are nicely executed. The hair looks okay, also, except for a few odd bends in some strands. But the painted elements appear a bit flat and dimensionless to me. If that wasn't the look you were going for, I'd suggest some highlights.

Looks good but the lines at the edges really need some work, they blur out rather then chop off :) Great job though/

A definite improvement! I thought about mentioning the blurring earlier, but decided you might be going for a focal-blur or depth-of-field effect.

Hey, here is another without the blur, i hope it looks good!!

That look a lot better, now for some subtle shadows under the clothes :) Really though it is much better at my attempt to 'post paint"

CocaColafreak, I'd turn the light down a little, it'd probably look even better.(and I'd match the lipstick more closely to the dress(don't match them exactly to the dress nor to each other) - somehow bluegray doesn't seem to be her color.) All in all a good job, - TJ

Most realistic thing you can add -- shadows. Clothing casts shadow too of course and really make the hand drawn elements more believable. Take a look at a photo, and see how the clothes not only cast shadow on the body, but the places where the cloth are tight on the body (e.g., around waist, etc) usually have an indentation where there is signficant shadow lines. Also, some detail on the skirt would help -- like a line around the top (e.g. a seam or something). Otherwise - nice job!
